It is located in the province of Albay in the Bicol Region and is located 15 kms. northwest from Legazpi City. This is an active Volcano and is belived to have erupted centuries ago. A cathedral a few kilometers away from Mayon Volcano is the only witness for us today on how strong that eruption was. Only a small part of the tip of that cathedral remained seen after that eruption. People travelling for the first time who just happen to pass by this region will surely stop by and take a good look, probably even take a picture of this beautiful work of God. Although this is not actually one of the top tourist destinations, we can say that this is one of the Prides of the Bicolano's.
